Warranty Terms – Jannesmann Construction Machinery
Our machines are manufactured and tested with the utmost care. We stand for quality, reliability and fair handling. The following warranty terms provide you with additional security beyond the statutory warranty.
1. Scope of Warranty
We grant a warranty on our products against material and manufacturing defects for the respective warranty period from the invoice date. The warranty covers free repair or replacement of the affected component at our discretion. There is no entitlement to replacement of the entire device if professional repair is technically and economically possible.
2. Warranty Period
The warranty begins with the date of invoicing to the first purchaser and applies exclusively to this purchaser. Transfer of the warranty to third parties is excluded.
3. Type of Warranty Service
In the event of a warranty claim, we will remedy the defect at our discretion by repairing the defective component or replacing it with an equivalent, defect-free part. Replaced parts become our property. This does not extend or renew the warranty.
4. Requirements for Warranty Claims
The requirement is that the device was used in accordance with the operating instructions, all maintenance intervals were observed and documented, no improper modifications were made, and only approved spare parts were used.
5. Excluded from Warranty
Excluded are in particular wear parts (e.g. seals, filters, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, chains, batteries), damage caused by improper use, overload, external influences, accidents, frost, fire, water, force, as well as visual defects without functional impairment. Consequential damages and loss of use are also excluded.

7. Liability
Further claims, in particular for damages or loss of use, are excluded within the scope of the warranty, insofar as legally permissible.
8. Scope of Application
These warranty terms apply to all products sold by Jannesmann Construction Machinery, provided that a warranty is indicated for the respective article. German law applies.
